Monday Dreamland

burning wood lights the night
dances mimicking eagle's flight
feasting on roasted buffalo meat
we haven't discovered drinks yet
the dreamers love to jump the cliff
after chewing and eating evil leaf

hiding behind tree;sneaking kiss
is the best kept secret i miss
now i'm sitting here watching
my people celebrating a feast
after buffalo hunt in the west
later we rest, hoping for peace

Indian Maiden Dreamland

sun kissing the treetops
startled deer on sudden stop
looks me in the eye then jump
i marvel for a moment atop a stump
a movement by the tall grass
i came to see what it was
indian maiden setting a trap
"it's you" and i quietly laugh

can't hold myself but come closer
somebody is watching us together
i saw the sparkle in your eyes
deep inside me; that's really nice
you raise your hand and bid goodbye
i saw your hair lovely flowing by
then you look back with sweet smile
i haven't seen that for a while

i'm trying

hit the golf ball as hard as i can
went up, faded away, was gone
oh my! i definitely pulled that one
deep in the woods hiding from the sun

should i drop or look around
take the penalty; i'm behind
still i'm having a good time
look what i found, a PROV1

my ball hit a branch, bounced away
not a good lie but i can still play
punch it with a three; rest on fairway
nice save; but arrived at bogey

i saw you sitting on a pretty chair
the wind blowing your lovely hair
you must be in so deep thought

it could be so romantic

then a leaf fall on your lap

birds clinging upside down
squirrels clowning all around

i see golden leaves up a tree
the sun is caressing them all day
i wonder why i only see now
i just pass and never look up
or wait at the right moment

how, i miss those tiny giggles
heard them so clear, they tickle
i feel peace, love and being

swift,lightning strike
blinding, piercing light
disturbing settling dust
from the falcon's flight

pond is empty, trees are bare
old chair for two, still there
breeze blowing leaves
creating ripples, tiny waves

flowers will bloom again
very nice for the spring
music beats to tempo
who knows what to follow
