a day's gift

moon must be watching me
witnessing a poetry
looking at window scenes
beautiful surroundings

baby blue lights on flowerbeds
by the shadow of myrle twigs
creature brush budding vines
scaring birds resting up the pines

hues fading to darkness canopy
hiding beauty we enjoy to see
one precious gift for waiting;
sunrise to brighten you and me

stop for a moment

blade of grass on summer dust
so beautiful, growing so fast
crystal drops of cool water cling
mirror to mysterious surrounding

if only grass could tell stories
like we recollect our memories
i could be listening to a symphony
in my early morning journey

yet, mute, as we all know
they have ways of telling you
look at it deeper, not a glance
difficult to miss the chance

through the blinds

through the blinds

break of dawn comes alive
wakes up before the tribe
outlook from deep blue
some i already know

i could hear the sprinkler
chirping birds get louder
the east gets brighter
as my day starts to uncover

delivery man on a rush
fast, soon will crash
have pity to poor soul
trying to do 'em all

silent leaves

when dusk embraces the radiant sun
i see flashes of green far beyond
then deafening silence covers land
broken by crickets up the palms

clouds soon clearing the sky
vast canvas where minds will fly
cool brilliant light from above
carving silhouettes in the dark

reaching the unknown to be one
punctuated knowing seems to plunge
welcoming breeze ebbs and bounds
in the darkness slowly drowns
