Torta 11/18/03

Fresh, with unblemished skin
Firm, with even grain
You don't have to squeeze to be sure
You don't have to rub no more
With a knife gently cut both ends
To let out the superheated steam
Microwave to soft to touch
Don't do too much, it would be mashed
Open and evenly spread wide
Fry to brown on both sides
With garlic, onions and lard
Easy on salt and pinch of MSG
To tickle your taste buds to glory
Beat an egg or two, put some salt too
Generously pour the egg while the heat is on
Can you smell it ...you have "tortang talong
