pathway carved through vines
sheltered by giant pines
flowers planted along
beautiful scented blooms
wooden bridge across a creek
shadow, where fish frolic
hunting the hatching mosquito
floating on water flow

i saw a frog who made a splash
yellowish green; a mustard
birds chirping overhead
reacting to noise i made
breath taking, lovely scenery
vines hanging, a greenery
luminous mushrooms on a fallen branch
robust ferns, a playground for the ants

these are more beautiful when shared
with a loving person that likes it too
yet i found solace on nature's screen
admiring, feeling "kiss me when
sun peeks through leaves"
silvery, shiny on lustrous webs
clear dew about to fall
"make a wish my love, your call."
