glimpse of the past

yes i remember my dad
he was the best i had
now i'm almost like him
we could have a good team

i didn't shed tears that much
i remember it happened so fast
i always thought he's coming back
he never did; that's a fact

he always said "it will go away"
so i tried to take things easy
so far i'm really doing ok
so much time to write and play
